    10.7 The Tracking Dog Test (TD)

    (a) The length of the track shall not be less than 400 meters (1312 feet) and not more than 450 meters (1476 feet).

    (b) The track is to be no less than one-half or more than 2 hours old at the time that the dog starts the track.

    (c) The scent shall be that of the tracklayer who shall leave a leather glove, wallet or other leather article, satisfactory to the judge, at the end of the track.

    (d) All turns shall be well out in the open where there are no fences or other boundries to guide the dog. There will be a maximum of 5 turns, 2 of which will approximate right angles, none of which will be acute angles. No conflicting track shall be laid.
